Indra was a king only in name who trembled at the thought of losing his throne and would use all tricks to get his work done. He had to be constantly saved by Vishnu because of his misdeeds.He lusted for other men’s wives without bothering about their feelings.He was a weak person as such and was not concerned about others as such.
