Shakuni was Gandhari’s brother who had to spend a lot of time in captivity because of Drhitrashtra. At the time of dying his father negotiates with Dhritrashtra to accept Shakuni and made Shakuni promise that he would convert his bones into dice with which he will destroy the kaurav clan.He is a person who avenged the ill treatment of his family .He was also instrumental in leading to the Mahabharta war .
