This performance by Sadashiv Amrapurkar, made him steal the thunder from our multi talented hero Sanju Baba .Even with Kumar Sanu’s vocals Maharani emerged as the heroine in this movie. Amrapurkar’s portrayal of the character was completely Over the top and brought him a well deserved Filmfare Award in that year.
